Florida's Warmest Welcome
There are many names for Pensacola: one of America's First European Settlements, City of Five Flags, Cradle of Naval Aviation, and of course, home of Florida's most beautiful beaches.
But to those lucky enough to visit our shores each year, it's probably simpler just to say this...we're the place where extraordinary Florida vacations happen.
Over the past 450 years, Pensacola has evolved to become a beautiful city brimming with culture, world-renowned museums and family-friendly attractions.
Yet, we've managed to remain remarkably unspoiled. Our 52 miles of beaches are famous for their white sands and undeveloped pristine beauty - and we're determined to keep it that way.
At the same time, like all Southerners, we like to share, which is why we're happy to extend a warm invitation to visit us anytime. We love to entertain, and we're eager to show off our fascinating community.
Whether you're planning a vacation or business trip - or whether you'd like to make your visit a little more permanent by becoming a resident - the Pensacola Bay Area Convention & Visitors Bureau is ready to assist.
So plan a little. Dream a little. And come let us spoil you in the last unspoiled corner of Florida
Economic Impact Data
More than 3.7 million visitors come to the Pensacola Bay Area each year, leaving a $1.2 billion impact on our local economy and helping to employ 18,000 residents. Tourism continues to be one of the strongest contributors to the economy in Escambia County.
