Pensacola, Fla.- iTen Wired is sponsoring an Angel Forum where entrepreneurs can make their pitch for capital to a group of qualified business investors.
“We are excited to see what regional entrepreneurs have to offer local sophisticated investors,” said Denise Browning, principal at Browning Mecke & O’Neal. “Our goal is to grow into a sustainable funding source for high-growth businesses that generate high returns for investors. We are optimistic about the iTen Wired Angel Forum.”
“There are many entrepreneurs in our region who are ready to grow and need a source of capital for expansion opportunities,” added Bridgette Price of the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and Gulf Coast Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship. “This program is very encouraging considering the current economic climate.”
Local entrepreneurs are invited to submit an application and executive summary by May 3 to qualify to present at the May 14 event at the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce. Qualifying entrepreneurs will get 15 to 30 minutes to pitch a group of regional angel investors one-on-one. Materials may be downloaded from www.itenwired.com/summit.
