The 2009 Pensacola Area Commitment to Excellence (PACE) Awards is the Pensacola Bay Area's pre-eminent celebration of the Pensacola Bay Area's visionary entrepreneurs, business and civic leaders and exemplary corporate citizens.
The PACE Awards were created by the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce in 1959 as the BIP, or Business, Industry & Professional Awards as a way to honor those outstanding individuals by naming them Emerging Leader of the Year, Business Leader of the Year, Professional Leader of the Year and Community Leader of the Year.
